Using with ChatGPT (Custom GPT)

1. Create a Custom GPT → Configure → Actions → "Import from URL".
2. Paste: https://mcp.stau1.de/openapi.json
3. Auth: None (API key optional). Add default header X-Client: chatgpt (optional).
4. Test: “Traffic incidents in Bavaria (BY) on 2019‑07‑01 07:00–08:00”.

Using with Perplexity / Claude / 5ire

• Import OpenAPI: https://mcp.stau1.de/openapi.json
• Optional header: X-Client: perplexity / claude / 5ire
• API key options: body apikey, header X-API-Key, Authorization: Bearer, or query ?apikey=.

Notes

• Date format: YYYYMMDDHHMM; max time range per request: 24 hours.
• Regions accept codes (260–275), canonical names, or synonyms (BY, BW, NRW/NW).
• Robots policy allows discovery endpoints only; operational routes are not for crawling.
• If necessary, an API key for unlimited access can be obtained by subscribing to Stau‑Archiv API‑Zugang.
